What to Wear
Hats - We do offer riding hats free of charge to use, although feel free to bring your own if you have one that conforms to the current EU Standards (PAS 015, or two of the following: BSEN 1384, ASTM F1163, SNELL E2001)
Footwear - We have a small collection of boots, again free of charge to hire, although we are happy for riders to wear wellingtons, or a secure boot or shoe with a small heel, so long as there are no zips or buckles on the inside leg.
Clothing - Shoulders must be covered at all times. Legs must be fully covered, with full length trousers, for example tracksuit bottoms or leggings as an alternative to jodhpurs.
Optional Extras - We advise gloves are worn to avoid rubbing from the reins, and also body protectors are always advisable but not a requirement unless participating in Cross Country.
Body Protectors - These are only compulsory to be worn for Cross Country lessons, but we advise they are worn during other lessons for the protection of your back in the event of a fall.
